Venue: Please report to DCQE Staff Development Room, First Floor (Mercantile House) for registration.

Please note: Mercantile House and Floor 1 are swipe access only. Please ensure you arrive promptly for the start of the session as we are not able to guarantee you will be able to access the building after this time. If you are unable to access the building please call 023 9284 3327.

Peer Learning Sessions are for those engaged on an APEX pathway working towards one of the UKPSF Descriptors.

In order to maximise benefit from these sessions we will ask that everyone do a small amount of preparation beforehand so that you have something to discuss with the rest of the group.

The session preparation will involve reflecting on scholarship and practice in your own subject area on a specific theme.​

09.00-11.00 Fellow: For all academic staff with previous experience who are involved in teaching, assessing and supporting student learning.

09.00-11.00 Senior Fellow: for highly experienced academic staff with a considerable level of scholarly and professional expertise with leadership and mentoring roles in learning and teaching.

14.00-16.00 Associate Fellow: For all staff who have responsibilities for supporting student learning in higher education but whose main role is in research, technology-enhanced learning or another activity which supports students learning.

Please note that a £15 charge will be levied against University of Portsmouth Departments where a member of their staff has booked but not attended, unless DCQE has been notified of their absence at least 48 hours prior to the time of the event. Parking is restricted at the UoP car parks, unless you have a valid UoP parking permit. Failure to display a UoP parking permit will result in a Parking Charge Notice (PCN), payable to Portsmouth City Council. Pay & Display parking is available on Hampshire Terrace (PO1 2QF), Cambridge Road (PO1 2EF), Gunwharf Quays car park (PO1 3TZ) or Alec Rose Lane car park (PO1 2SA).
